Welcome to Sportsmed Mosgiel.

Sportsmed Mosgiel Physiotherapy was first opened in 2010 and has a philosophy of providing quality physiotherapy through longer treatment sessions. Our patients will benefit from the extra one on one time spent during treatment sessions.

We provide physiotherapy with a high emphasis on manual therapy, gym rehabilitation and evidence based practice in order to achieve optimum results.

Our clinicians are highly qualified physiotherapists with specific interests in sports injuries and musculoskeletal disorders. Sportsmed provides 45 minutes of one to one injury assessment and treatment, ensuring clients receive the highest level of patient care, promoting optimum recovery within safe and effective timescales.

Our Physiotherapists all have a specialised interest and experience in musculoskeletal injuries, sporting injuries, pre and post-surgical rehabilitation, manual therapy and gym based rehabilitation. We also have an interest in workplace injuries and have an ACC contract for Escalated Care Pathway (ECP) and Stay at Work (SAW) programmes which promote quicker, more effective rehabilitation for the injured worker. The practice continues to have a strong affiliation with the Olympic gym and has full access to the gym for rehabilitation purposes.
